Is it normal for an older person to check out a younger person?

Let's say an older man sees a younger woman in a sexy outfit, is it normal for that man to check her out? To look at her? For that matter, is it normal for and older woman to check out a younger man? Or someone older to checkout someone younger of the same sex? Just looking. Not hitting on or touching or anything link that.

The other day, I posted a poll titled "Do young women know older guys check them out?" and one commenter went ballistic, saying how awful it was for a man to check out someone that could be his daughter and how that person needs help. I don't agree. I think it's fine for an older man to check out a younger woman.

I'm not talking about hitting on the person, trying to date the person, not touching, or even staring. Just looking. Staring's not cool, but just a glance?

I think a lot of older people check out younger people, and I don't think there's anything wrong with it. And I think it's normal. I'm hoping some people will back me up here.

So, do you think it's normal for an older person to check out a younger person?

    You don't suddenly start liking older people the older you get. Of course it's normal.

    As long as said people aren't wringing their hands & licking their lips, where's the problem.

    It will soon get to the stage where if we do go anywhere on foot the only place we can look is the pavement directly 6 feet in front of us. Just in case we get accused of leching or hurting someone's precious feelings by glancing at someone.

      No I'm not. The only reason I'm concerned is because of that one person's comment on my poll titled "Do young women know older guys check them out?" Did you see the comments on that?
