There is no such thing as recreational heroin use. Anyone who thinks there is is delusional.
Is he actually using heroin again? Or other drugs? It *could* be okay but it really depends... it's easy to get addicted to heroin, so as long as he doesn't have an extremely addictive personality there are drugs that might be safe for him (weed, psychedellics), things that have very little addictive potential.
Still, being a recovering addict anything could become habit forming. I think it depends on the drug, the individual, and the amount of time they've been clean. I'd need more info here to really give you a good answer.
Heroin is shit, the comedown is longer than the high (the same goes for cocaine) so why bother at all. If you use heroin, you are a gimp.
you're gettin some bunk shit, man. heroin lasts bout 4-6 hours and you start aching in 8-10. if that shit's wearing off in an hour like coke you're gettin old stocks of demerol which got taken off the market, or worse - desomorphine. also known as krocodil. and if you're on that shit, you're very far past the point of no return.
Is he using Heroin again or something else? There's the risk he could have a relapse or become addicted to something else. A safer option for him would be weed.
It's possible, but I don't think it's wise. That's a place in my life I never ever want to visit again. Fantastic high, yeah great. Life destroying. Yes most definately.
