what do i even say... what is an ex even thinking when this happens...
(i was the one who got dumped!)
That's nothing one of my exes did that for 5 years. Every 2 or 3 months she'd call and try to be friendly. Funny thing was she had a new boyfriend.
I dont know why they do it. Probably just seeking attention.
My ex and I split up a few times. It was always around the five to six month mark that she made contact and tried to test the waters for another shot (at hell). Out of the blue, she'd text: "Oh, did I see you at the train station on Sunday morning?" The last time she tried it, I made it clear I had no interest in knowing her whatsoever. It seemed to work.
I suppose this advice may be the opposite of others here.
I wouldn't turn my back on someone who (genuinely) wants to be friendly again.
Oh the drama .... well by now you are over it so I'd stay out of re-hashing a relationship that's as spent as a turd.
Maybe she was being friendly. Maybe she wants to still be friends, maybe she still cares. Why don't you ask her?

1) She just got dumped and looking for comfort.
2) She was drunk.
3) Both.
Dude, that's nothing, I told my ex to go die and now I have a new boyfriend he's trying to get me back in to bed. Just tell her to get lost, she probably only wants a shag anyways.
