Is it normal for an 18 year old to have stretch marks all over him?

Ok heres the thing and it makes it really really weird....I just turned 18 Sept. 3rd and I have Always been Very Skinny. Ive had like stretch marks on my butt and the sides of my thighs for the longest time and now recently in the past few months ive noticed im getting like the bad purple looking stretch marks on the sides of my thighs and the top of my butt, and now i even noticed a Bunch of those purple marks on my back below my right shoulder. And again ive Always been soo skinny and i dont work out that much. I told my mom a few weeks ago and she like really wondered about it. Should i go see a doctor or something? Cause i really dont think its normal, i dont like having these bad stretch marks >:\

I have the same things. I got them when I went through a growth spurt. My mom thought somebody has whipped me or something. It's all over my back and butt, but it is starting to get less noticeable. One time I had a massage and the lady was like what is that; she has seen a thousand or so backs and had never seen stretch marks like mine. I started getting stretch marks around my shoulder area recently because of working out as well.

My tip to you is to use shea butter, vitamin e cream, or bio-oil as soon as possible. It is quite healable when it is red, but if you wait too long it will become more of a whitish scar and be more permanent, and you will have to look for more expensive ways to remove or fade them.

totally narmal man, I have streach marks, I do work out and am in the ..... large department (beefy not buffy) lololololol, but yes it is totally normal especially now because these are the final years of growth for you. if you worry about it go with suggestions above with the oil.

A mom was talking to me about this recently. Apparently her son had taken a major growth spurt and developed stretch marks. The doctor said it was coz his skin hadn't grown at the same pace. There is scar oil available that is really supposed to help them fade - Bio-oil

If you want a cheap, effective cure, try the Edgar Cayce holisitic methods. Using castor oil, try googling this. The castor oil method also works on varicose veins, and balding. I bought it for my varicose veins and I let my friend use it on his balding and it worked on him and it worked on me. It has a multitude of uses, so try googling it. I bought a big bottle at whole foods for $10. To get the exact directions, just google edgar cayce and castor oil and stretch marks.

I forgot to mention, you need the organic, cold pressed variety. This was originally used as a laxative, and if you buy it as such then you'll get the stupid kind, get the organic kind or the kind for home health. Also used for castor oil packs, using white wool flannel works for cellulite and all kinds of other stuff too, but for stretch marks i don't beleive you need that.

Having Stretch marks could indicate that you have a connectivity disorder. I've had some on my ass for quite awhile....
I'm going to see a geneticist.
