A long time ago, I made a list of the traits of a perfect girl. Over the summer, I met a girl who I saw pretty often. I have gotten to know her, and she matches my list 100%.

We talk a lot, and I have gotten really close with her. We text everyday. We have had feelings for eachother and we talk about them. We think it would be wrong if we dated now, but there is still definitely something between us.

    I can't really blame you because I know two couples that met at those ages and are still happily married after about 20 years.
    However all you can have right now is a friendship - A platonic relationship. In a few years she will have become a woman and maybe you will still feel the same for each other. But maybe you will both have grown up in different directions and it's not going to happen.
    If this girl is really so great I'm sure she's worth waiting. Be aware that as the older one you have the responsibility. She is still a child and it's not surprising that she'd love the attention of an older boy. But it's up to you to draw the line. Because it will also be you who goes to jail if you fuck up.

      I agree, age is a funny thing because a 14 year old is just now discovering things and isn't physically or emotionally ready to have the type of relationship that an 18 year old will have. So if yoy can wait then it will be better for her because she won't have to grow up too quickly

    I think its normal, yet abnormal XD. I "admire from afar" one of my brothers friends who is 15, but who looks just about my age (18). He is tall, has facial hair, curly brown hair, a deep voice, muscles, and is one of those types where you just say "daaaaamn..."

    No way in heck I'd ever try anything with him though, I'd feel like a cougar or something

    Actually it is normal, but a relationship wouldn't be entirely legal. I know a couple who dated for almost a year, she's 18 and he's 14, so they're slightly less than 4 years apart. The age difference may have been why they broke up though.

    Don't try anything because it more than likely wont be legal. The only chance of it being legal is if the country you live in considers the age of 14 to be a legal adult.
