Is it normal for a young man to enjoy doing his makeup?

I'm not gay, and I don't even wear it regularly. I enjoy putting on my makeup, it feels a lot like painting to me. And sense I can't actually fucking paint this is like the next best thing right? And like I have friends that try their new makeup on me so they could practice and I'm look "yeah that's aight". And like I have long hair which I like having braided and all that.
And as you could guess I'm roasted like a thanksgiving turkey for it. Like, is it that weird? I don't even go out in public wearing makeup, I just like to do it. God's sake.
