Is it normal for a woman to sniff her own panties?

A few times when they didn't think I was watching, I have seen women guiltily sniff the panties they just took off. It could be while getting dressed after sex, or undressing for the shower. Is it to check for an infection, see how she smells to her partner, or does the scent of her own vagina just intrigue her?

    if u want to check if the undies are clean, or possibly to make sure there's no fishiness. it's normal.

    Once or twice (okay, like a thousand times) I've had to sniff my undies because I was scared I had an infection. I don't think any woman is intrigued by the scent of her vagina, because well, vaginas don't have a smell unless they are infected
