    Yes but she's a creep if she thinks she can "change" him or somehow have a chance with him.

    It's normal to have a crush because you don't usually control this kind of feelings and it could be towards anyone. What wouldn't be normal is if she refused to get over it and insisted on dating him. That would mean she doesn't respect him at all and is not, in fact, his friend.

    Sure it's normal, your neurotransmitters and pheromones etc that are responsible for who you're attracted to, don't distinguish between gay and straight

    If you spend much time on IIN you will see that it is apparently very common.
    I think it is often a way for a young girl to feel something for a guy that she knows will not confront or hit on her; safe.
