I mean like the sweet whispers, poetry, flowers, candle light dinner and whatever. I'm not against it or anything, just don't give a damn about it. I think its just cheesy. Is that normal?
hell yeah! What I think is better than romance is when a guy could make me laugh so hard i can't breath lol All that candle crap is embarrasing and akward! I could have had the most sweetest, perfect, romantic kiss in the snow, but he took to long to walk to me and i freaked out and threw a snowball at him lmmfao!
I am female and I personally am not that into sterotypically "romantic" things. Maybe I am the strange one but what I would find romantic is playing video games with him all night, or just going somewhere cool like an amusement park. Flowers and corny lines don't really appeal to me.
I feel the same way. To much just pushes me away. I am not into the whole romantic sweet love making either. I have felt bad because I have been with guys that have done really cute/romantic things. It just wasn't for me. Don't take me to a candle lit dinner, take me to a amusement park. No flowers they just die. But you can buy me a plant that will not. No one seems to get it. But apparently it's not just me :)
All that I's sweet sometimes but I couldn't imagine the poems & flowers all the time lol. As for the candles and whatnot, that should be saved for a special occasion. Romance nowadays is pretty much dead anyways. Not in all people but in most. It's good to romance your woman/man now and then.
Okay, my brother in law is SO sweet though, (This was the one romantic thing i though was Uber adorable, but mostly just because he remembered and made an effort ) But when him and my sister first started dating, She told him She didn't like flowers, because they died, Like if roses symbolized love, why did it wither and die so easily? (I completely believe this logic too) So a year later on their anniversary of their first date, He bought her a bouquet of soap roses, beautifully carved, with a little note that said, "My love for you could never wither and die, just like these roses" ~^_^~ SO cute! She still has the roses too, still in perfect shape after 7 years :D
Deep down I like when boys are romantic, I find boys are oftem more romantic than me!
I used to be like that too, screw my face up, say flowers were a waste of cash etc but I've never had a guy that would do it any way!
Most people like to believe romance in the fairytale sense but go in life in a reality of romance which is far less romantic than what they feel is romance. Anyway I am the same but I like roses (not for romantic purposes).
