Is it normal for a wart to be doing this?

I don't know how else to ask a question like this, but on this website.

So I noticed that I had a big, pink, wart on my wrist for the longest time just recently. I decided to remove it, and yes, I know it's a wart because I accidentially was picking at it and saw little black spots appear, then there were tiny warts on my fingers that I removed immediately.
I applied some of that liquid wart remover for a few days, and it seemed to be working. But now that I've taken the bandaid off to inspect it, the wart is not exactly there, as there are no black dots, but the skin on and around where the wart was is raised and puffy, the "wart" itself is seeping occasionally with some sticky secretion.

This is REALLY gross and I'm avoiding touching the damn thing for now,I don't think a bandage will help so I haven't put one on again. Can anyone help me find out what to do about it?
Or if someone has had this happen to them before, can you tell me what to do?

No... Ask your general practitioner who may or may not refer you to a dermatologist.

An amputation is in order now. You should've left it alone.

  • Try using a file to sand it down everytime before using the wart remover. That way you get rid of all the extra stuff that builds up around it.
Also bandaids aren't good because they trap water which feeds the wart.
