Is it normal for a stylist to not blow dry your hair??

OK, I went for a haircut the other day at a place that I have been to before a couple times. I got shampooed and then the stylist cut my hair. When she was done cutting, she kind of fluffed up my hair with her hands and says "is this OK?". Um, my hair was wet!! She wasn't planning on blow drying it! I've NEVER had that happen, ever! I asked her to blow dry it and she made a face of displeasure but she did it. Blow drying is included in the price!

I was really puzzled and angry over this. is it normal for a stylist to do this?? If I were a stylist I wouldn't want people to see someone walking out of my shop with a wet mop of hair!! I also wouldn't try to cheat my customers!!

No it's not normal. They should have dried your hair! I'd complain

Next time dont get your hair blow dried. Just drive home with the window down and your head out of it. Blow drying costs too much anyways.

I would never, ever let a client of mine leave with their hair wet. Blow dries are typically included in the service depending on where you go. Even if a stylist is busy we will ask our apprentices to get started rough drying and we will go in with a brush. I am very sorry that you had such a horrible experience! I hope you will be able to find a great salon that is right for you!

Its not normal. Usually, blowdrying hair is part of the package that comes with making an appointment.

I usually ask that they don't blowdry my hair because they charge, like, $10 extra for that.
