Is it normal for a stranger to give you money?

Once I was walking home, I was about 3 blocks away, and this woman pulled up in her car and handed me $10. I had no idea who she was, never seen her before or after. She said "I just feel I'm supposed to give you this", handed me a $10 and drove off.

IIN? Has this happened to you?

I look normal, no disabilities or deformities, and I was dressed in neat, clean clothing. It was daytime in an average neighborhood. I don't get it.

Yeah maybe she was just a very nice woman.
One time I forgot my money at home and I went to the gas station to get poptarts, and I told the cashier I left my money at home. This guy behind me, in his 30s pays for my poptarts.
There is little hope for society.

I got me a tattered brown jacket that got all kinda stains on and people throw money at me too when I'm sitting in the street, I guess coz they must be impressed by my unique fashion and smell. It's nice them folks show their appreciation.

Sometimes good things happen to good people...But also, sometimes good things happen to bad people :[. If I were to guess , though, I'd say you were a good person who, for some reason, deserved that 10 dollars on that day, for no apparent reason.

This has never happened to me before but once, a few years ago, at a McDonald's, a strange older woman offered me the rest of her fries. I had sitting with friends for my camp group. I ate nothing and suddenly this woman kept asking me if I wanted the rest of her fries. I kept refusing and eventually she hopped up and left. One of my friends was mad at me for not accepting her offer but I didn't know her. She was a total stranger who could've had any number of diseases. Why would I risk that? I'm still baffled as to WHY she would ask me. Maybe, it was because I was the thinnest person at the table. Who knows?

As for you OP. I guess the woman felt destined to give you that as if it was meant to make a difference in the world.

She probably mistook you for the prostitute she short-changed the night before.
