Is it normal for a straight man to behave like this?

I am a homosexual male. I have a friend who claims to be straight and knows I am into him.
But, he comes over and spends the night a lot and odd things have happened that confuse me.
I've layed on him, slept up against him, given him lower back massages, etc. We even played strip poker with just us two one night.
The kicker is, that when he spends the night, we always share a bed.
Is this normal straight man behavior?

    There is a small issue... he might just pity you and in some way try to comfort you and make you feel like your still friends... but hardly NORMAL

    I don't act like this around my gay friends, and especially wouldn't around one I knew was into me. It seems either cruel or curious.
