Is it normal for a straight guy to want to cuddle with a gay guy?

If this guy isn't gay he sure loves teasing you.

Maybe he's just really needy and because he knows you're gay he feels comfortable to do this kind of thing with you and not with anyone else.

I say this because I'm kind of this way I described, I really like to lay down with a friend of mine, with my fingers through his hair, I even want to put my head on his chest but I don't have courage to, and despite of it all I really have no sexual thoughts about him, I just feel really great and comfortable doing this.
He's not gay as far as I know, which makes my situation a little different of yours, but still could be just a needy guy.

Maybe but he could just be affectionate, its not impossible and has actually happened to me in fact I've know about 7 straight guys who've done similar things to me when alone or even in public but are straight as an arrow. For example a buddy of mine likes touching my face, or coming up behind me and putting his arm around me. Another likes cuddling on the floor with me, another won't stop hugging me, and one even kisses my cheek. One friend plays with my hair when its long, and another likes tickling me. He may just love you a lot. Or he could bi curious.

He's probably curious. Many people go through a stage of curiosity before they label themselves. If you're interested in him try turning your attentions on him. Just be aware that he may enjoy it at the time, and say alot about how he's strait later.

Do what feels right to you, as long as it doesn't make him uncomfortable. Remember you're not his dr or psychologist and avoid labeling your friend - that usually just makes people mad.

Your friend has just evolved - there is a great study on this - how the new generation are less influenced to 'act' macho due to the decrease in homophobia and acceptance of gay culture. I have a best friend who is straight and spoons and cuddles me when we're chillin together - there is a 20 year age gap - he's the younger. As a gay guy it's wonderful to be close to a friend that's straight and have their total trust. We work together and he always wants a hug before we get our separate trains - we often get a few looks but don't care. We just have a really intense close friendship - bromance if you like and he's the best friend I've ever had. Your friend is straight 100%.
