A mother bathes and puts Christmas PJs on kids age 3 & 5 then waits for father to come and get them ( he has them for Christmas) 3 year old falls asleep. Father picks up at 8pm (christmas eve) when he gets to truck he changes them into the PJs his wife (stepmom) sent with him.
Sounds like the stepmom is terribly insecure and childish. Way to put the fucking kids in the middle of adult head trips.
Dad must be a pussy whipped loser to let this shit go on with his kids. He should stand up to his new wife and tell her to stop with the childish crap. Some folks just should never be parents.
Petty petty petty .... but if you make a fuss about it that will rebound on the kids.
If you can try and laugh at such childishness it wd be bette for the kids and you

No not normal...this is controlling evasive behavior from the step mom to override anything the mother has done....perhaps out of jealousy. This is in no way rational or normal behavior.
One time I used money I earned as a kid and bought my brothers a few treats... their stepmom saw and took her kids out shopping without my brothers so that her kids came home with bags of stuff. she couldn't have my brothers have something while her kids got nothing.
she and your stepmother mentioned in your story are bad patents to the gained children in their relationship.
(Btw my brothers are half brothers thats why she was never my stepmom)
