Is it normal for a six year old to think about killing himself?

When I was six I decided I wanted to kill myself in order to see what would happen. I know what you are going to say: "You were just trying to get attention" or "you didn't really know what that mean't," but I never told anyone, so I don't see how I would get much attention from that, and I lived on a ranch, so I saw death a lot. I did not know what it meant like I do now, but I had a pretty good idea. I decided not to kill myself because I realized that my parents would be really sad if I died, and I probably would not have actually gone through with it anyway, but I am wondering if it is normal for a person that young to think about killing themselves that seriously.

    I don't think it's normal but when i was around that age i said those kind of things too. I screamed 'i want to die'. Not 'i want to kill myself' but probably i did want to die.
