Is it normal for a movie to predict an actual event?

The movie Knowing with Nicolas Cage that came out in 2009 predicted the 2010 oil spill in the gulf of Mexico. I do not think it is normal.

    THE KNOWING!!! LOL. I absolutely hate that movie it was THE single worst movie i've ever seen, besides House of the Dead a.k.a. every piece of shit that Uwe Boll has evar made.

    If it did predict it, could you post the proof? Like the date in the film etc.

    But most likely a coincidence.
