Is it normal for a mother to ask about her adult son's penis size?

My boyfriend's mother has repeatedly asked me about his penis size. Obviously not a question I am ever going to answer. But it still makes me uncomfortable. He says he has not been abused and I believe him. I feel that even telling him what she says would be emotional incest. My question is, is this a somehow normal curiosity that I am over-reacting to? I am her care-taker as well.

    If she was your girlfriend or sister, I doubt you'd think anything of the question. As a mom, we're always interested in our sons physical and mental health and development and if she hasn't seen it since puberty it's only reasonable that she'd be curious. My sons aren't shy around me and while there's nothing sexual about it, I have always taken an interest in their development over the years. Maybe it's out of concern, or just a mothers pride, but I'd certainly be disappointed if they hadn't voluntarily allowed me those opportunities.

    My mom had a conversation with several of my girlfriends about my larger cock size that started out each time innocently as just teasing me about how I am extremely well hung.
    In her case it was not curiosity, Because mom has always known I have a big dick and even measured it with me.
    It was more of a way to join in and help girlfriends tease me about it.
    One conversation got so open and detailed about how it she described how she was freaked out by my size the first time she seen it, Telling my mom how she was even scared of it at first .
    On the other side of the coin, My mom has given me tips when I was a young how to properly use it and not assume that just because it's bigger that all women want that sort of thing.
