Is it normal for a middle aged married man to pee while asleep?

I started having this situation happen when I was single and sleeping alone and have woke up as usual and found to be soaking wet. The dreams were irrelavent. Sice, I have gotten married to a wonderful wife that has told me she has watched me just pee as if in the woods and zipping my zipper back up when through. My PJ's don't have zippers. We invested in the stay dry matress pad and also the matress protector for wetting the bed. Both have kept our expensive matress dry. The weting may happen twice a week or once a month, there is no prediction. The doctor said I am normal with no psychological abnormalties. He did explain that this is not singled out but happens equally to men and women. I was told this is no sign I need diapers or have a bladder problem. I am normal and don't worry about it. Wife said it is something she never saw before and kinda exciting just to watch. Oh well, at least it has a purpose...Haaa-haa-ahaaa

    Your poll results suck.

    I have heard of people sleep-walking and using the bathroom in their sleep. I once saw my sister go into a closet and pee in it as if she was using the toilet and I yelled at her and it woke her up. You might be doing the same except for every night.

    Actually it is quite normal. There are may adults who wet the bed. I am one of them and use the mattress protection along with night time diapers and plastic pants. My wife insists on me wearing them to bed each night. At first it was weird, but I found it much better than waking up wet.

    Hm, Middle aged bed wetter.......Nothin out of the ordinary. I have different story though.

    Raped, abused and somewhat tortured.......I had a bit of a rough life. Odd that Im 19, but I feel like im 33, my doc told me there was nothing physically worng, but mentally.......

    Anyway, You seem normal, to be a bed wetter at mid 30's is nothing bad.

    Oh, P.S. I do wear diapers.

    I have never heard of this seriously. I know that some people pee in bed because they are drunk but never ever like this. i am quite surprised
