Is it normal for a masochist to hate degradation?

Common culture seems to depict masochists/masochism as closely related to having a degradation fetish, as someone who identifies themselves as a masochist (IE: Enjoys pain) but strongly strongly dislikes degradation I wanted to get you guy's opinions on how common this is.

        No were did i say the he was going to cause pain to another person. What i said was: if someone broke a masochists bones would they like it?
