Is it normal for a man to shave his armpits?

Yes I shave my pits and I don't do it for the women. I do it because when I use deodorant it sometimes gets all caked in there and its annoying. So one day I shaved them and it was freaking amazing. I had no more caked in deodorant problems and even if I was to go a day without deodorant my pits didn't stink. Also on hot days I feel cooler after shaving them. I just feel all around better after with them shaven. Is that normal or socially acceptable for a man to do?

I also shave down there. Again not for the women but for me. No I don't think it makes me look bigger. I'm quite happy with my size. I just do it because, again, it helps me feel a little cooler during hot days, and it makes me feel cleaner down there. Is this two normal or acceptable for a grown man to be doing?

    I personally hate men than lack body hair! It's feminine and not natural and I find hair on men really attractive (even back hair) no joke!

      I'm a 190lbs. bodybuilder with extensive tattooing all over and a crew cut. How feminine is that? LOL.

      And about "natural".. well, shaving for girls is not natural either. But oh, god- it's gross without.

    pubic hair is there for a reason. DO not shave it off as it affects protection from the elements. Its sensitive stuff beneath all the hair

    I am a guy and I also shave my armpits. I find that shaved armpits feel cleaner and cause deodorant to work better because there is no hair to block it from getting where it needs to go.

    its normal. before i went to the zoo one day i put on deodorant. it was really hot out that day so i was sweating alot, and the deodorant got all nasty i could tell. it was all wet and stuck to my armpit hair.

    yeah, I shave everything -it's not such a hard job and it looks and feels much better. When I started a decade a go it was considered kinda odd, but nowdays all the guys at the gym are all shaved. It's the norm -nobody likes feeling like an ape.

    I shave my armpits every couple of weeks just to keep the hair short and under control, for the same reason as you. And I have been shaving "down there" since I was about 15 years old!

    totally normal... my bf shaves his armpits & his weenie. I like it, he has great hygiene. Better than hairy wet stinky sticky armpits.

    I'm a woman and I think it looks much much better when a man has his armpits shaven! Also if it makes you feel more comfortable, why not :)
