Is it normal for a man to like house work?

I like to do the house work when I get the time or when I feel like it. I do the hoovering, make the beds, do the washing up and even put the washing out on the line, Just to help out at home. I don't cook if I can possibly help it as I don't like that but I would feel guilty if I didn't do my fair share of the house work, even when I've come home from work. I don't do it as thorough as a woman would, I don't get out the feather duster or wear a pinny with curlers in my har, lol!..is it normal when a majority of men think house work is for women?

Why does it matter for whoever does the housework? Both genders can do it! It's not off-limits for men! Do you think girls want to clean all the time -_- Yes, it's normal that you want to keep a fair share of cleaning the house. ^_^ sorry for being dramatic, lol :P

Yes. Completely normal, I enjoy housework to an extent (when it's not too much, like my family insists I do, then I get annoyed...)

Yes, it is normal for a male to do housework. Not as normal to enjoy it. I don't know anyone (male and female) who actually enjoy housework. That being said, nothing wrong with enjoying it. Your lucky actually, I wish I enjoyed doing housework then it wouldn't be as bad doing it.

"is it normal when a majority of men think house work is for women?"

In the 1950s and before we may have thought that. Most modern people don't think housework is only for women.

It's normal for a man to do housework. It's normal to enjoy the results of that housework. But it's unusual to enjoy actually doing it - I don't get a kick out of hoovering / washing up / tidying. I wish I could wave a magic wand instead :P

Housework is only for men in my place because only males live there (and only one of them, at that). I like some of it. Like cooking and washing and ironing clothes. Weirdly, I'm not keen on taking the bins out even though it's easier. I don't like people seeing my rubbish even though it's all in black bags and is just the same as anyone else's.

I take out the bins more often than not on the Sunday evenings for the bin men to come on the Monday mornings.

I've done it at all kinds of weird times. Like 3am on a weekday morning. All of the people who live around me seem independently wealthy though, and don't seem to need to work, so they're up at all hours.

    • Ha! I feel the same about my garbage. I always wait until after midnight to take it out. Weird.

When I moved in where I did, I dreamed that there was going to be a communal rubbish chute so we could throw rubbish away without even leaving our flats.

Maybe I need to build a "rubbish" robot. Hmm.

            • You'd be rich if you could design a robotic garbage bin. But people would start using them for ill purposes, of course.

There was a communal garbage chute in the last two apartment buildings I've lived in. I got a kick out of shoving my bags of heavy (dirty) cat litter down them because of the momentum it had and the loud crash when it hit the bin below. Still though, I had to carry the bags of stink practically a quarter-klick down the hall just to get to the chute - it was a large complex and I lived on the end.

Why is R2D2 tilted like that? Is it because he(?) doesn't have neck? And why does he sound like an electronic guinea pig?
