Is it normal for a man to ever resort to cussing in a disagreement?

My long distance boyfriend has resorted to calling me a cunt, a dumbass bitch, and retarded when we have gotten into disputes about things. I go out of my way to try to not cuss, and although I HAVE cussed during fights I don't resort to calling him names directly. He also has said things like "this is some dumbass bitch shit, basic bitch shit like a 14 year old. I thought you were smart."
He said all that after I was suspicious about his instagram....

So... opinions here? Is it ever ok to resort to calling the person you love names every time you get into any type of fight or is this completely unacceptable?

      Good advice. I will. Lol. I was thinking that the very first time it happened but I was too in love with him to want to leave. I was clinging to the illusion and to the good things... but now I see the truth. I'm running from that shit lol!
