Is it normal for a man to be a cliff richard fan?

I have been a fan of the british singer Cliff Richard since I was 13 years old, that was in 1982, after thirty years I now have all his albums on CD or records,..I'm actually male, I'm not gay either! I met him in Cardiff in November 1988, and even he looked at me as if I should get a life!, but he was really a very nice man, he normally appeals to women, so is it really normal for men to admire him also?
