To start with, I'll just go ahead and say that I'm gay because I'm sure that's what some people immediately thought.

You see, I take after my mom, and by that I mean I have her thick, dark hair. Unfortunately, I also have long, dark leg hair and I absolutely hate it. It starts from my ankles and goes up to my ass and I think it's so gross. is it normal for me to want to get them waxed? I don't want to shave them because I don't want them to come back thicker and I also don't want to have to shave them on a regular basis, but I want them gone. I want smooth legs. So IIN?

    Of course it's normal. Societal issues like this where your opinion is being scrutinized by certain groups of people should never label your actions as abnormal. Who gives a fuck what other people think as long as you're comfortable with it (and many guys do wax).

    Shaving doesn't make your hair grow back thicker. Hair is sort of like tapered at the end and when you shave it, is no longer tapered, you see? It only appears thicker because the ends are now blunt. Anyway, do what you please with your body hair.

      Same! It's the worst. I always thought it was sort of a girly thing to do, but hey, I'm gay, so who cares. I also just want smooth legs.

      I get my boyfriend to shave my legs, chest, dick, facial and arm pit hair. After I would do the same for him. He normally gets distracted pn my sick and ass ;)
