Is it normal for a guy to shave his pubes and between his legs

i used never to shave my pubes and they grew long and then i shaved them all off i prefer it more all shaved off sometimes i shave it short or all off at the moment im sporting a landing strip just for fun gonna do a arrow next XD but is this normal do girls prefer it im still a virgin so i dont know please help and if you think it is normal what shall i do next =D
