My guy friends shave their arms. I don't see a problem with guys shaving.
I don't know if it's normal or not. My son did only because of playing football. He would tape his ankles for support and ripping off the tape hurt. So he shaved up to his knees.
Hi, I shave my legs. I don't care what people think, ask or say. I am also very confident. I am in shape, and I don't have chicken legs. I take pride in my body too. I love the way smooth legs feel. I am complimented a lot by women about my legs also. If you want to shave your legs or most of the body hair go right ahead. Have zero f^&*s given.
Whether you should or not is completely up to you and how sure you are of your masculinity. I have been shaving mine for several years now and much prefer them that way even though nobody knows I do it since I wear long pants to work. I started shaving them when I had Sclerotherapy done to help with some spider veins. After that I kept it up. My leg hair had started to not grow on the lower backs of my calves and to me it looks better evened up. Don't let anyone tell you that shaving makes you gay. Only liking the same sex makes you gay. It is mostly men who are insecure about themselves that feel as if they have to put people down who have the nerve to do something they won't try. To me it is no problem to keep up with, but I have never been very hairy to start with. For example, I don't have back hair and have never shaved my arms and you can't tell I have any hair on them because it is so fine and light. My leg hair is brown and the only thing that concerns me sometimes is that by shaving off my hair, my legs are whiter than I would prefer since I don't get out in the sun much. If they were tan, they would look fantastic. Bronzing self-tanning lotion helps with this, but to me it is just too much trouble to keep doing. All that being said, I don't think that shaving your legs can yet be considered 'normal' in most societies, but the trend toward less body hair seems to be growing. Just look at the responses toward the male dancers on Dancing with the Stars when one of them gets waxed! For anyone who wants to try it, don't just do it once. It takes several months for it to feel 'normal'. When starting out, trim your hair with hair clippers before you try and shave them. If you don't the razor clogs too quickly and you will end up cutting yourself. After a while your mind adjusts to the look and if you try and stop shaving them you will find that is hard to do since now your mind is used to the look and feel of being clean shaven.
Guys these days are girly in comparison to old schoolers. They wear earring and trim their eyebrows. Shaving the body is just part of it now. Even macho dudes with tats shave their bodies now to show off the ink.
Most younger women seem to like the smoother skin on men. Hairy guys are considered gross or unkept. At least that's what my chubby redheaded coworker just told me.
The guys on my old swim team used to shave their legs, and they'd keep it up even after swim season, so I'd say it's normal. Plus, it's mote attractive when a man shaves his legs, at least to me it is.
i shave my legs as i play rugby and have tattoos and my legs end up looking like gorilla legs but as tori said i do have the same issue as her son it hurts when you pull the tape of your socks and catch the hair on your legs
Well I really don't like hairy guys at all! Guys with little to no hair are my favorite haha
I see nothing wrong with it. I actually think shaved legs for a guy is hot :P. Arms too please :)
A friend of mine used to do that.
I don't think he shaves his legs anymore, but I'm pretty sure he still shaves his stomach and chest.
^^^^sherry^^^^ hahahahaha!!!!! can't stop laughing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
HA! it is normal, countless studies with doctors and psychiatrists show that men liking other men is perfectly fine and has been around for countless years. research often? get your bible thumping ways off the internet.
