Is it normal to walk around and see my friend say we're just friend and then two minutes later he'll watch me with one of those loving looks and then he'll flirt like crazy. (He's not gay despite what I'm about to say) He wears skinny jeans, a tee shirt, a hoody, and vans. he also wears eyeliner. His hair is purple and despite what all of you think he's straight. He keeps flirting with me (I want to go out with him) and he says that we're just friends. He keeps flirting with me like he's not just kidding around. All of our friends thinks he like me because he changes everything in an instant right when I'm around. He's always starring at me and we've made eye contact a few times and he looked away. Is it normal for a guy to say we're just friends and do this? I'm just so unsure if he likes me back. He doesn't say what he thinks and it's just so confusing. Does he like me?

    I don't think he's gay; he's probably Emo. I think he likes you, though. He's probably just too afraid to actually admit it and is trying to give you a hint. Staring and flirting constantly? He definitely likes you.

    maybe you should ask him in private about it. also, have you ever said anything to him about how you feel?
    either he doesnt know how he feels, or he doesnt feel comfortable saying it in front of your friends.

    maybe he just wants your friends to think its a joke.

    Well,he might be bisexual and more into getting involved physically with men but on the other hand likes girls.My friend is gay and i know it and we had those love eye contacts you spoke about.So,it is normal,don't build hopes on that.If he really likes you,then he will ask you out on a date or reveal his real feelings sooner or later.

    Yes and no.
    He may just be uncertain of his own feelings. Although I don't know why how he dresses plays into this.
