Is it normal for a guy to not want to insert his finger(s) vaginally?

I am female. I have had a few different partners over the years, but not a huge number. I have now had two partners who would never inserted their fingers into my vagina during foreplay. Both guys were fine with touching and stimulating the clitoris, but neither would explore the vagina. Is this normal for a guy to be like that? Would love to hear comments on what their issue might be...

    Some girls dont like it, maybe they thought you dont also. I love it so much i dont understand how they could not want to do it.

    They may have picked up that trait from their past experiences. A lot of women prefer clitoral stimulation opposed to vaginal. Simply tell your guy what you like.

    Idk if it's normal, but I definitely have the same problem. I have no problem rubbing or stimulating the exterior of a woman's vagina, but the thought of inserting my fingers into the vagina gives me deep anxiety. I have no idea why. I might be able to explore the vagina with some convincing, but it would definitely require me to cross a huge mental barrier of anxiety that normally prevents me from desiring to put my fingers inside of a woman's vag.
