I'm male and I hate the taste of beer. Everyone calls me gay just because I don't like it and it pisses me off so much, surely there are other guys who don't like it?
I don't either, who gives a shit what they say. I actually don't drink at all. And yes, I'm male.
Oh and the smell of beer is what puts me off... its like old urine fucking mouldy shit Bleurghh
I didn't like it when I first started drinking. It's an acquired taste and I got it by drinking more and more of it despite what I thought of the taste at the time. But no I know a lot of people that don't like beer and it's just fine.
It's normal. People are just mean. I don't really like beer either but the one that I can stand the most is yuengling lager either regular or light.
How old are you? It's an acquired taste. I didn't enjoy beer til about my 20th birthday.
I hate beer. I have never drank alcohol in my life and never want to. I'm a dude, I'm 22, and I'm already married. Its not normal to do drugs. Yes I consider alcohol a drug.
beers like bud light an keystone an other cheap beers all taste like piss...theres one beer I like an is actually American (even tho it doesn't sound like one) called Ying-Ling and it actually tastes good. there others that are good, there more expensive but have more alcohol than the cheap shit...I perfer that or just some whiskey.
Just drink spirits... but not vodka and coke because that's a ladies drink. Have a triple jack and coke its the equivalent of like 3 or more beers in a tiny glass :)
normal not to like beer i think. I prefer whiskey neat. beer too watery. not enough alcohol in beer.
I hate beer too. It fills me up too quick. I always preferred scotch or bourbon.
my brother is the same way. he mixes some candy type thing in to it. taste pretty good
of course its normal, drink whatever tastes good. People who say you are 'gay' for not liking beer are insecure and just ignorant. I know people who identify as 'gay' who LOVE beer.
It's perfectly fine. I don't actively drink beer, although I do drink ginger beer. ; )
In some countries though it is harder to get away with this as it's in the culture. You just have to run with it and ignore what they say. Thrive on the fact that you can withstand the urge to drink beer and they can't.

I believe anyone doesn't like beer. I think it's because that person hasn't found the right kind of beer for them. Think about it, there's crappy light beers which is probably what you're trying, amber ales, stouts, pilsners, hefeweizen, dark ales, the list goes on... Even my girlfriend who doesn't like beer will drink a hefeweizen. I recommend that. Or try a drink like Leinenkugel's Summer Shandy. It's beer mixed with a lemonade twist and it's pretty refreshing, especially in the summer. It's brewed in Wisconsin but I've found it in grocery stores in the Seattle area where I live and other places. My recommendation: find the beer you like and stick with that beer. That way you won't get shit from your friends anymore and you can appreciate and acquire the beautiful taste of beer. And grow a pair. And never look back.
