Is it normal for a guy to listen to girly songs?

I think people should listen to whatever they think sounds good. I love what some people may perceive as "girly" music like Taylor Swift, Selena Gomez & The Scene, and a whole bunch of bubbly Japanese pop. I'm not ashamed of it at all, haha.

I only know of a few guys that will admit to liking girly songs, one doesn't care who knows but the other two hide it from everyone, probably afraid to look like pussies. I'm a girl and I don't see anything wrong with a guy like girly music

Yeah you should listen to whatever you want. Just because their "girly" doesn't mean that guys can't listen to them.

I was wondering tha same thing! I love "girly" love songs, yet I love hard core rap, normal I suppose.

I like girly songs and plenty of people know it but I don't admit it to the guys at work cause they're mostly the macho type, especially the boss.

Some people are like oh it's cause you are gay (I am), but I liked them before I even knew that. I loved Britney Spears before I really even knew what the lyrics actually meant. The songs are just catchy and well if they're about a girl and a guy or just a heartbroken girl they just get that little part of me too, if I'm feeling emotional I cry while listening to them. One of them is Unbeautiful by Lesley Roy.

Its incredibly normal and those who say they dont do and just dont want to say thingything about it. I dont like to really classify music as being girly. Britney Spears when it first came out was for both girls and guys, but when it got into the older music ganera, it became "Girls" Music. So i really think it has all to do with what kind of music your into. My vast majority of music i listen to is sung but girls, so i dont really think of it as girly music.

No problem cuz..I just finished listenin to bad romance...i wouldnt suggest you play it in the car though...people might get the wrong idea cannon...

So what? I'm a girl and I listen to some really hard rock that most men listen to. It depends on personal taste. If you enjoy girly music, then continue enjoying it. :D

Just try not to sing to them or you'll look gay. My ex-ex-ex-ex did once, and it averted me. Does not apply to "classical" songs. :)

I've been buying and listening to music for about 40 years and I've heard of rock, pop, soul, reggae, gospel, classical and many other genres of music but "girly music"? never heard of it.

Yeah i like Katy Perry and Avril Lavigne for example,and i'm not too much into pop,but i like a few songs,though i prefer rock,all kinds of rock

Hell yeah, Katy Perry's Hot N' Cold tune makes me wanna get down man! They're catchy, but i only ever listen to it when it comes on TV/radio as i wouldn't wanna own the songs.
