Is it normal for a guy, who is straight (nothing wrong with gays) and has friends (is kinda popular) to love Soap Operas? I'm in middle school and I saw my mom watching one and I'm hooked! I have even thought of writing my own one.. Is it normal? Thanks and have a nice day.

    I used to watch them when I was younger, sometimes if there's nothing else on I'll switch on EastEnders or Coronation street.

    There is nothing wrong with watching soaps, regardless of gender.

    i watch Soaps there is nothing wrong with it.
    and i am a guy also.
    as for writing my own i never have that dream or thought,
    but what ever you want to do give it a go.

    Yeah, it's normal enough. I don't think your sexuality is determined by what you like on TV.

    Man, don't let pre-concieved gender roles tell you what you can and cannot do.

    Liking soap operas doesn't make you any less of a man, stop doing what you love because of what others think does.
