I have been dating this guy for a couple weeks now. I really like him and see a pretty committed relationship in our future. Because of this, I have been taking things really slow for once. It wasn't until just this past week that we kissed for the first time. We were alone in his room and started kissing, but all he did was just shove his tongue in my mouth! His lips weren't even involved! I tried to fix it while we were kissing with no success. We were both a little drunk at the time, but not nearly enough for this to be acceptable. What should I do? Is this normal? I don't want to hurt his self-esteem, because he is shy enough as it is.

    you don't have to HULK SMASH his ego.... just gently kiss him and tell him you want to try something...

    some guys don't know that tongue isn't always fun. sometimes less tongue teases the senses more

    I am certainly not one to criticize here, but it sounds like he doesn't know how to kiss. Maybe you were his first time? Next time lead him into it, slowly. Show him how you like it to be done and he will probably start catching on.
