I am currently friends with this really hot girl. I'm almost certain she is attracted to me (probably why she befriended me in the first place), and I think she is planning on making a move on me really soon. I think her only hesitation is that me not making the first move is a bit surprising to her. She knows she's super attractive and her confidence is sky high so me not being a horndog after her is catching her off guard a bit. The thing is I'm in a really messed up long term situation and not really looking for a relationship or in the mood for dating right now. She's a really cool and smart girl though and I really value her friendship which surprised me when I admitted it to myself. So am I acting normal or is my bad situation messing with my head and I'm making a big mistake?

    if she is into you and you like her back, you ought to date her. ive FZd a gal who i thought was cute, and looking back we were really crazy about each other, touchy feely with each other and such, but for whatever reason i didnt date her. i dont really care but that was a good opportunity that may have passed. your bad situation is making you act stilly, stop it.
