Is it normal for a guy to eat with his female friend's spoon?

I'm a girl. My guy friend gave me his fro-yo and then ate with the same spoon. I found this odd because he's a clean freak. He always complains about unclean people and the cafeteria spoons not being clean. He also takes like 3 showers a day. As far as I know, he NEVER uses the same spoon as someone else. He also could have gotten another spoon, but he chose to eat with mine instead.

Granted, he did jokingly ask me if I have any illneses, but he ate with the spoon before he even heard my answer (obviously no). What are some reasons a guy would use his female friend's spoon?

    I'm a total germaphobe too but sharing with my boyfriend is an exception.
