Is it normal for a guy to cut the hair under your arms?

So I am one of those guys that perspire heavily when I am warm. I use a product that shrinks the pores under my arms so that in general they rarely sweat because if I didn’t, I would have those nasty rings under my pits. I also wear deodorant on top of it. The thing is, if I let the hair grow under my arms not only does deodorant stain there but the smell gets into the hair which transitions into the clothes. I shave it down to keep it from stinking. The last thing I want is yellow rings under my t shirts or to smell residual arm pit stank when I iron my shirts. Am I the only one?

    Who cares if you're the only one; whatever works for you.

    It's not like if armpit hairs serve a greater purpose or anything.

    It saves on deodorant and also makes you stink less by eliminating surface area for sweat to stick to.

    i cut my armpit hair and I'm a guy.
    i just find its more comfortable, less itchy, and deodorant works better.
    A lot of my friends do it too, there's no problem with it, and it seriously doesn't make you homo in any way. :|

    I don't sweat a whole lot so I don't even use deodorant on a regular basis.

    Do whatever's best for your own personal hygiene, though. As long as you don't give off a huge wave of body odor wherever you go, then what else matters?

    I had my vasectomy after my second kid and they gave me a shot in my armpit. they shaved it and since then not to feel "off balance" one shaved and one not I have shaved. I prefer it when using a roll on deo not to have to roll through the hair..

    I dunno never did it..but if you think it looks better without it then yes its normal
