He had single up for a year on FB. Then recently changed it to no relationship info to show. hat would that even mean. Basically I turned down a date with him a year ago but now I've since changed my mind and want to start talking to him again but noticed he went from single to no relationship info to show unless he's hiding it from people.. I'm lost nervous ahh

    Facebook recently changed its privacy policies, and I recall being asked to review my settings the last time I logged on. Maybe he just clicked the wrong button. Or maybe he didn't review his settings as he was asked to do, and FB defaulted to setting everything to private.

    What's to stop you from sending a, "Hi, how you doing?" message?

      Oh really??? I didn't realize. Lol I just don't want to be stupid and him to shut me out and never knowing if he's with someone..but maybe I will just send a message. When did Facebook prompt you for this? Jw

        I don't log on to FB often, but I think I got the prompt last week.

        I haven't looked into it, so I don't know, but I assume the FB prompt was the result of the change in EU laws on privacy that mean I'm now having to accept cookies from every website I visit for the first time, and there's all sorts of crap in my email asking if I want to still be on mailing lists.
