Is it normal for a guy to act like this?

I recently started a new job and after being there a couple of months I got talking to one of my managers, he left and we kept in touch and decided we should meet up as we hadn't seen each other in a while. He took me out on dates a few times and then he invited me to his house, I went and we had a takeaway and I ended up staying the night. We slept together twice. We've arranged to see each other again but when I spoke to him he told me he didn't want anything serious and didn't want a relationship at the moment. We kept talking as normal and a week later told me he didn't know what he wants we'll have to see what happens. He pays for everything when we're out and always compliments me and makes me feel special. We live about 2 hours away from each other which makes things a little awkward but we seem to manage at the moment. Is it normal for a guy to act this way? What does he want?

He said he doesn't know what he wants so the question now is what do you want? If the answer is more than what he can give you then you'd best move along cause there are no guarantees with ole boy here. Stop trying to figure him out.

    What does he want? SEX.
What does he NOT want? COMMITMENT.

Do a little dance, make a little love, get down tonight. Just sayin. ;)

He wants to be friends with benefits, but he's too concerned about appearing to be nice to tell you he's using you. He more than likely hates your personality but loves the sex.

  • So, basically indirect prostitution. You know he is only in it for the sexual aspect and will buy you things for it.

Can't say it's a respectable thing for you or him to do, but it's your life.

I don't think that's a fair judgement at all. They have only had sex two times so I don't think there's enough data to assume he's only interested in sex, and nothing about her account makes me think she's only interested in his money. Sure he pays for everything, but she also says he makes her feel special in more general terms.
