Is it normal for a guy of average height to like a woman taller them him?

So I have a thing with a girl i like she 6'3. I personally have no problem with it but people want to say stuff like oh that's a man and are you sure she's what she says she is. I don't have a problem with trans people but i personally prefer a ("cis") woman i think the term is. but this is besides the point she is a woman with a vagina she just happens to be Tall and i just like to know what others think. we get stared at a lot out and about.
