i got a girl friend that openly admitted that she's lesbian.I didn't really mind about it and did not make it as an excuses to not be friend.we only meet on weekends at tuition but comfortable enough to speak about sex (i'm a virgin so she explain 'stuffs')
as weeks goes by after having our classes she suddenly whisper to me "what happen if i want to kiss you?" her face was serious and actually very determine about it. But i play dumb and just laugh about it.

i don't want to hurt her feelings and still want to be her friend.

Now i don't know what to do since it will be quite awkward to be alone with her, especially because we usually sit next to each other and wait for our parents together.

i don't know whether this will be harsh but is it normal for any lesbian to say that to their friend?and do anyone know how to make the awkwardness go away??

    i talked to her and she confessed that she likes me.. i told her its ok but i just want to be friend.. she agreed and we just do what we used to do.. i never thought its gonna be this easy to talked and we're still friend..so thanks for the advises u guys gave.. =]

    btw i don't kiss her.. like dappled said i don't want to lead her on..

    Try kissing a girl u might like it. It's normal for experimentation. Don't knock it till u try it

    Fine as long as you don't lead her on. My lesbian friends have a history of people who "just wanted to try it". Not much fun when you're trying for a relationship to be constantly told that you are a phase. On the other hand, they've all slept with more women than I have so I guess it's swings and roundabouts.

    Well I could see where you are bothered by the fact you think she is into. Having a friend into you that your not interested in would put a lot of people off. However the manner in which she said it I don't think meant she had a serious crush on you. I think maybe she thinks you are cute and wanted to know if you would mind it. Just be honest and say "Im not into girls". If you can respect shes gay she should be able to respect the fact your not up for it. Its not homophobic to turn down a gay person since you are straight.
