I love my short hair. Now I'm talking boy-short. Even shorter than it is now in the summer. I have like no boobs and am a tomboy and don't wear particularly girly clothes. But it is so refreshing, it feels and looks neater, so low-maintenance... It also just feels more right to me than long hair. I also think it looks better on me than long hair.

People say they think so too, but for some reason I get a lot of shit about it. Some girl in the locker room asked me if I was LESBIAN!!! I have nothing against gay people and most of my friends are gay but that was kind of shocking!!! I started freaking out a little, and couldn't answer due to the shock. so now she thinks I'm lesbian, oh just great. also in band class the conductor was talking to my sister and told her "Go help your sister" and some guy whispered behind me "Her sister or her brother??". It was mortifying.

Does short hair make girls look lesbian? Do girls look bad with short hair? Should I grow it out even though me and my friends/family like it?

    Fuck haters, Im a girl, I have a mowhawk and I rock it. If its your style, you cant really be wrong, right? :) And itll keep away the idiots who wouldnt get it anyway.

    I always used to say, theres not alot of a difference between guys and girls when it comes down to it. People can hate on this comment all they want. I personnaly love the idea that people can feel comfortable just being themselves, despite hair length or w.e. But you know what? If you peirced your ears, you might not get mistaken for a boy, and for those people who stereo type just because your hair is short can go fuck themselves. Hair length doesn't equal sexual prefference. Stop caring what people think of you, and just love yourself, I was the same way growing up ;)

    I quite like girls with short hair.

    I'm a guy who had really long hair and got the "is that a guy or a girl" comments as well. Most of the time it was just out of spite because deliberately getting someone's sex wrong is of course amazingly hilarious. I didn't let it bother me that much really.

      Haha one of my good friends has long hair!! He was gonna cut it short one day and I actually was kind of dissapointed... I think he looks really cool XDD Like a... like a rock star librarian or something...

    If I see a girl with short hair I'll sometimes get a crush on them just because of that. Maybe I'm just weird, but I'm proof that some guys like it short. As for being called a lesbian.. My ex had the same problem since she had short hair too. Idk. Ignore it is my advice. I get called gay all the time cause I sort of act feminine sometimes and I just roll with it.

    It litterally makes me sick when i see a woman with short hair.i dont care how beautiful the girl is if their hair is too short it turns me off.
