        perhaps the shameful part isn't letting everyone know... but actually doing it.

        although maintaining a virginal image when everyone pretty much knows is probably going to be impossible anyway.

        and before you say "no one knows"... most likely the only one buying the "virginal image" is the girl and perhaps her female friends.
