Is it normal for a girl to hate girls?

Being a girl, I know how most girls are and I don't like it at all! They are best friends one minute and hate each other the next. They talk behind each others back and it gets on my nerves! Why can't everyone just be nice? Too hard huh? Pfft, you're not trying hard enough!
Recently, a friend of mine was in tears because of two girls we know.
Another of my friends was best friends with this one girl who started to ignore her and then the girl called her a loser when they walked past each other. I've been through it myself.
What happened to good ol' honesty? Out the window I'm pretty sure.
I have more guy friends because they are so much easier to get along with. They just forget things easy and move on. I have 3 best friends and two are guys. Does anyone else feel this way? Is it normal to feel this way?

    As a male.. So many of my female friends are the same way.. '-' I can't ever have a party of females who all i enjoy without something happening.. -_-

    Have you been watching Mean Girls??? Lol. Some girls out there are giving females a bad rep but not all girls are backstabbing, lying and selfish bitches.

    How old are you? Most girls grow out of it eventually. It does suck sometimes, but really good girlfriends are irreplaceable. I always choose quality over quantity with my friends. I would just try to stay out of the drama as much as possible if I were you, and when you get older you can be a lot pickier about who you socialize with.

    I Agree. I dealt with that all my life and I found a solution. of about 10 of my closest friends they ALL are male. and I have never been happier.

    WOW! I wish there were more people like you who think "why can't everybody just be nice?!?" I agree, I hate the stupid drama and I also find it easier to make friends with guys because they don't seem to be as critical and judgmental and mean.

    Who needs friends like that anyways? Not all girls are like that. I was friends with girls like that in high school but I've got friends now that are nothing like that and if they were I wouldn't continue being friends with them

    You are totally normal. I'm 28 and still have more guy friends Han girlfriends. I jut hate the nastiness and bitching. Girls seem to form cliques easy and soemhow inadvertantly someone gets caught up in it all. For a while I stayed away from girls altogether, but you will find you do need that girl to listen to you and understand you like no man could. When this happens, find yourself true friends who you can feel at ease with and whose maturity is with them.
