Is it normal for a girl to get along better with guys than girls?

I am practically not close in any way with any girls of my age. My mom tells me it is weird. I have a boyfriend of 7 months, and I talk almost exclusively with guys. I talk with girls from time to time but, I don't have any real close female friends (I have in the past but I have lost contact).

I seem to freak other girls out and always have, my sense of humor seems to be appreciated by guys but girls seem to despise it. (My humor tends to be... extremely disgustingly vulgar, sometimes racist, sexual, and sexist against my own gender. It isn't even my personal beliefs I just find it funny) I find more guys can relate to such jokes, and I have met VERY few girls who can.

So, is it normal that I relate and befriend guys easier than girls?

    I'm the same exact way. For me, other females are too superficial and materialistic. I get along better with guys simply because I can have deeper conversations with them. I can ask them, "What do you think is the purpose of life?" and they won't look at me like I've got two heads.

    Totally normal ! I have this wacky sense of humor too. Sometimes I tell sexist jokes... to guys.

    Totally normal. I wish I could be like that, guys are so much less dramatic. But I don't fit in with guys too well.
