Im a girl, and i love to play games. I have owned (or stil own) a Nintendo (the first one) a sega 16 bit, PlayStation 1-3, Nintendo ds and iPhone. I like simulation games, final fantasy, and tekken 6 is my latest addiction. Every day i spend at least a half hour on one game or the other. is it normal for a girl to like gaming this much???
By the way half an hour is nothing. Try spending a whole day and night trying to unlock characters and going through training mode!
Yeah, it's normal. I like girls who game. Certainly a lot more than the girl who sat next to me at work and told me that all games are for children and no teenagers or adults should be playing them.
I like my simulations too. If you've got any recommendations, I'm all ears.
I think it's perfectly normal. Why should video games be only for boys? It's like: "blue is for guys and pink is for girls! If you are a boy in a pink shirt, you're gay!"

I have a PS3, DS, PSP and PS2 atm. Put it this way, even my mother fights me in Soul Calibur IV, so with games it's all good!
yes its normal just because your a girl doesnt mean you cant play games!
i am a girl and i am gaming 24/7 almost :3 i have/have had a sega dreamcast, nintendo 64, xbox, xbox360,gbc, gbds, wii, and god knows what else lol. i also am a WOW addict lol. gotta love world of warcrack! :P but ya i play from sims to halo and everything in between...im playing portal 2 right now and i love rpgs :)

I am a girl gamer! :D I spend 6-24hrs on games depending on which games (and my school). Currently just finished Dragon Age 2.. played 12 hours straight.
I'm not very good with FPS and RTS tho... but I do enjoy them.
I enjoy a serious talk about video games with my friends (most are guys).
I can spend every waking hour playing Kingdom Hearts. I am absolutely obsessed. I would wake up and reach under my bed to play pokemon on my GBASP. Your not alone. Were just quieter about it. :) Well goodnight everyone

Normality is overrated !!! It is a stereotype that chics aren't interested in video games. As a girl gamer I own a psp go, a gameboy color, micro, advanced, ds, wii, Nes, N64, Sega Saturn Pc laptop, and my iPhone us hacked to "dirty bits" ; /

Yes I am filipina. No batman and friends are not in it. Xmen peeps are there and chun-li, tron, sentinel, Thor, spiderman etc. Soul calibur iv is pretty awesome as well. Xianghua is my girl there. Hahaha

Yes it is! I'm a girl and I love video games. But seriously you have to buy marvel vs capcom 3!!!! It's addicting.

I'm also a girl gamer, I spend more then a hour gaming a day. I own a gameboy, gameboy advance, nintendo DS, playstation 1 + 2, wii, psp, ipod touch and a PC with many games. And yes i also play games like battlefield or cod. So yes for me it's normal ^^
