Is it normal for a girl to act this way if she really likes someone?

So theres this girl who ive always liked and we've become really close friends. We both have partners but are unhappy in our relationships. Recently we have got closer and I confronted her about her feelings and we both said we liked each. When very drunk, she is very affectionate and has told me she is in love with me. But when sober she is the one to end text/facebook conversations (one word answers), can ignore my texts completely, avoids the "big questions", etc. Is it normal for a girl to act this way when she has feelings for someone she likes too, or is there something bigger going on?

    I'd say it's normal cause she's in a relationship. Some people will say that what you do or say when drunk is actually what you were thinking when sober. She probably really wants to be with you, but doesn't want to hurt the guy she's with.

    This is normal because she probably just doesn't want to admit her feelings to herself. So yes, it's normal.

    She acts weird while sober because she has a boyfriend. Nothing more to it.

    it sounds like she probley feels bad texting u like that and she doesnt wanna complcate things. if you really care about her dump ur girlfriend! thats the first step to getting closer to her. shes doesnt wanna be your first option she wants to be your only option. you still being with your girlfriend shows well i like u more but i still wanna date my gf like wtf bro ? u have to show her that u want her and noone else
