Is it normal for a friend to do this?

The other night ny friend had too much to drink. So she goes back into a friends car, puts on my jacket that I had in there, ans thrn decides to throw up all over. It was everywhere the car, the jacket, on herself...so when I found out of course I flipped out, I was so mad. And today she tells me im not a real friend because all I cared about was the jacket and not if she was okay or not. Well yeah..it was her decision to get so drunk that you don't know what you're doing.. was it normal for me to react the way I did or is she right?

    None of my friends would act like that about a jacket. And usually one doesn't simply "decide" to throw up. It just kinda happens. Perhaps if you hadn't overreacted, she might have apologized.

    Neither of you are wrong.

    It sucks that she vomited everywhere and on your jacket, but you should be easier on her. Maybe she had trouble controlling her alcohol consumption and didn't mean to drink so much. It's not like she threw up on your jacket in purpose. You should try to be more understanding and caring.

    She should try to be more responsible when she drinks and not let herself get too messed up. She should know that she might damage someone's property or even worse. Hopefully she can help to clean up the mess and not get blackout drunk.

    Its super nprmal to get super mad about her.. but what was not normal is not to fuck her while she was wasted!

    you're both stubborn assholes and neither of you are true friends! if my buddy did that to me i would be upset yet i would also be worried.

    so yeah, the fact that you were only mad shows you really don't care for her saftey, or at least your jacket is worth more than it.

    as for her she damaged your propperty and then critizes you? that's just unfair if i did something like she did i would be ashamed of myself and would apologize, not act like my friend is obliged to be nice to me because i was sick. i hate it when people who are barely sick act like they diserve special treatment.

    She might be one of those blackout alcoholics. If she's a true friend she'll apologize for vomiting on your jacket and pay to have it dry cleaned if necessary. Also if she continues to act this way she will probably need to quit drinking altogether and start going to AA meetings.
