Is it normal for a divorced dad to co-sleep with son and daughter?

My friend's new man is divorced with 2 kids, a boy, 7 and a girl 9. She doesn't sleep over on the nights he has the kids. There are 2 mattresses in the bedroom. She says he sleeps naked, but I don't know if that is the case when the kids stay with him, however they do all sleep in the same room. Is this normal?

As long as the father isn't sleeping naked when the children are present I say yes, this is quite normal. For nearly a year after my parents divorced, my two younger siblings and I slept in our father's room. My sister, the youngest slept in the bed while my brother and I slept in the floor on either side of the bed. It was just a response to the overwhelming loneliness of our mother leaving. Looking back, it may have even been out of fear that we might lose our dad too. Divorce, no matter how the parents go about it, traumatizes child
      ren to some degree.

So there are separate mattresses but the father sleeps naked ALL the time?

I would be more concerned if there were only one mattress

As long as nothing else is happening I don't see a problem.

Being naked has nothing to do with sex. We are nude most of the time when we are at home. No sex here. I am a voyeur and enjoy my wife and 2 teenage daughters.

even if he doesn't sleep naked it's no big deal. all kids see their parents naked. and even if the kids see daddy having sex with his girlfriend, what is the worst that could happen ? the kids might experience sex with each other.

It is concerning but there are missing pieces to this story. Is there only one bed? Is there more than one room in the house? If there is then is he forcing them to sleep in the same bed? etc.

You haven't said if there is more than one bedroom. If not then what's the problem.
