Is it normal for a co-worker to pass wind in your office?

A co-worker came into my office, and we were talking about something. I thought I heard a "noise," but I ignored it. a moment or two later, a "smell" was detected. Neither of us said anything but it was clear what had happened. Should he have said excuse me or something?

I also had this problem. Two co-workers, big hairy beer drinkers who seemed to eat nothing but eggs constantly used to drop little brown memos in the office. The whole place reeked and sometimes the air actually seemed foggy. They didn't care if you heard them or how far away you were. Sometimes you'd cop one right in the face. The whole office was terrorised by them and sometimes it seemed liked they were trying to outdo each other.

Luckily for us, though, Emily and Rachel both left to find other jobs.

Kick them out of your office (that is if you can), or open the widow.

Sometimes you just can't help it!!! I lent over to pick something up in the office the other day and let out a right trouser ripper! I thought the best thing to do was just not to draw attention to it and everyone else was nice enough not to as well!!

  • It was just a fart... If it bothers you that much make a scene next time he does it & embarrass him infront of others then he probably won't do it again (: x

Fight fire with fire I say. Let it rip in his face at your earliest opportunity.
