Is it normal for a child to do this?

Sorry if I put this in the wrong category, I just didn't know where to put it..
So, a night ago I was babysitting my aunts children 2 year old boy and a 6 year old girl. I was sitting on the couch watching tv with them when I heard a gross kissing sound, I look to my left to see the girl kissing the boy with tonge and everything! I looked away and got kinda grossed and weirded out by this I didn't say anything an acted like i didn't see anything. I want to know if this is normal for her to do that cause I thought it was inappropriate and should I tell their mother what I saw?

    I think you should tell the mother but they are just kids and exploring and they really don't know any better. So yeah tell the mum and let her deal with it. Lots of kids do this though so dont worry. But I would tell just so things dont get out of hand...

    I was playing "doctors game" with my two years younger sister all my childhood, but this is bigger age difference so I don't know, but I think ot's OK if he agree.

    Tell the mother. She needs to be alerted just incase something untoward has been happening to her kids.

    I would be a little concerned.I know kids play doctor and stuff but that seems really young to me to be exploring and kissing open mouth.I would tell mother ASAP and hope she doesn't pin it on you.

    Its normal that kids do things that they don't fully understand. She probablly saw her parents or someone else doing that or saw it on tv.

    They probably don't know better, but it's inappropriate. You should tell their mom, and hopefully she will have a talk with them.

    They're just mimicking something they saw other people do. Nothing to get worked up over. Monkey see, monkey do. Small children naturally do that. That's how they learn in their first years. Just intervene and divert their attention onto somethings else. Eventually they'll loose interest and forget all about it.
